Mari State Technical University (Russian coordinator) hosted 16 project participants altogether. The ultimate goal of the project is to improve the quality of forestry education in Russia taking into account the best experience and achievements of the leading European universities. Project activities are aimed at bringing Russian educational programs of higher vocational training (Bachelor, Master and Post-Graduate studies) in compliance with the educational standards of the European Union based on the principles of integration, competence, continuing education and academic mobility. International participants made presentations about their activities, existing framework of qualifications and continuing education in the European Union. The consortium agreed to carry out a video seminar in the short term, made plans concerning advanced training of Russian participants in European universities and companies and developing post-graduate academic mobility. |
