Moscow State Forest University 05 April 2013 Information day on International project TEMPUS-JPHES ¹ 516796 “Qualifications framework for sustainable forestry and lifelong learning — SUFAREL” took place in Moscow State Forest University on April 8, 2013. University administration members, deans of university faculties, heads of university departments and the concerned persons were among the guests of the event. Professor V.G. Sanaev (Rector of the University) and professor V.V.Nikitin (Vice-Rector for International Relations) opened the meeting. The keynote speech belonged to the project supervisor in Moscow State Forest University, professor V.S. Shalaev (The presentation was sent earlier.). The subject of his presentation is “Current State and Trends of the International Project TEMPUS-JPHES ¹ 516796 “Qualifications framework for sustainable forestry and lifelong learning — SUFAREL””. Among other reporters were: - Professor A.A.Malashin (Head of the Department of Automation), who spoke about state of affairs in establishment of the University Centre of Cooperation for Knowledge Support and LLC Education based on modern standards. He also paid attention to technical capabilities of the set equipment or about the equipment which is to be set within the frames of the TEMPUS project. - Professor V.V.Lipatkin (Dean of the Forest Faculty) and associate professor A.N.Samoldin (former Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training of Engineers) offered the case analysis in the RF and EU in qualifications framework in the field under development; - Professor V.S. Shalaev, associate professor V.A.Frolova and associate professor A.N. Samoldin spoke about development of E-learning courses (12 planned to be elaborated study courses, Urban Forestry and Ecology Management, correspondingly). All the presentations arouse much interest and some offers were given. Besides, it was recommended to discuss the results and prospects of the International project TEMPUS-JPHES ¹ 516796 at the Academic Association in Forestry Education (September-October 2013), place the question on the agenda for the University Supervisory Board meeting (October-November 2013) and activate cooperation with corresponding organizations of the Federal Forestry Agency Photos from Infoday in MSFU |
