First Information day of the International project EU Tempus in Ural State Forest Engineering University
I Information day of the International project EU Tempus in Ural State Forest Engineering University took place on April 5, 2013. The event was carried out within the framework of the workshop conference “Training of the Specialists in the Study Course “Forestry and Landscape Engineering” in the Current Context ” and traditional meeting of the Faculty of Forestry alumni. Professors, students and alumni of the Faculty of Forestry (This year they celebrate a jubilee since their graduation.) took part in the conference. All in all, there were more than 250 guests. The alumni came both from the Sverdlovsk oblast and its neighbouring regions (the Chelyabinsk oblast, the Kurgan oblast, the Khanty - Mansiisk Autonomous District, the Perm Territory and Bashkiria) and distant regions (the Samara oblast, Udmurtia, the Altai Territory, the Irkutsk oblast and Buryatia). There were also guests from Kazakstan and Kirghizia. When registration, all the participants of the conference got the booklets with information about the I Information day of the International project Tempus where some data about the project were described in brief. The table of descriptor of qualified levels of the Russian National System of Qualifications was also presented in the booklets. All the participants got a questionnaire, the answers to the questions of which shall help to elaborate a sectoral qualifications framework. At the plenary meeting of the conference the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Z.Ya. Nagimov paid a particular attention to the role of Tempus SUFAREL project in development of the Faculty of Forestry. The project coordinator in Ural State Forest Engineering University professor Yu.E.Mikhailov informed the guests of the conference about the main tasks and results of Tempus SUFAREL and Russian National Framework of Qualification.
